“THE POWER DIMENSION OF THE KINGDOM”

SCRIPTURE READING: Isaiah 61
EXPOSITION:
By the coming of the Kingdom, the power of the Holy Spirit is released for Kingdom work. Just before His ascension, Jesus commanded the disciples not to depart from Jerusalem but wait for the promise of the Holy Spirit. He had assured them, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the world.” Before the Kingdom can be enjoyed on this earth, the Holy Spirit, the power behind the Kingdom has to come upon the earth.
The uniqueness of a kingdom is the amount of power it possesses. In this world before a kingdom would be treated with honour, it should possess enough power. Many kings are servants to other kings because they have less power. What makes Ashanti Kingdom great is its power through the Golden Stool. It is believed that the stool has made Ashanti Kingdom very popular in Africa especially Ghana. Every kingdom has a king and its domain.
Everything is possible for those who are in the Kingdom of God. That is why the Bible says that, “For with God all things are possible.” We were asked by Jesus to pray for the Kingdom of God to be established on earth because there is liberty and authority in this Kingdom. Jesus said, “if I cast demons by the power of God then, the Kingdom of God has come down on the earth.”
Wherever there is power, there is order. A divided kingdom cannot stand; there is always unity in a kingdom. Behold the people is one. The dimension of the power of the Kingdom is so wide and deep. The power of the Kingdom brings good news, healing for the sick, and comfort for the broken-hearted, liberty for the captive and freedom to the prisoners. This is the kind of Kingdom God has called believers into. Let believers know that they are in the Kingdom in which everything is possible for the domains because of their king, God is all powerful.
PRAYER GUIDE:
Pray that you may experience every dimension of the Kingdom of God.
